We rebuilt a Vista event venue’s content, then built the marketing machine that filled its calendar.
CoLab Public House is a brewery collective and private-event venue in Vista, California — a great room with a story to tell and event-rental revenue sitting just out of reach. The space was there. The bookings weren’t coming through the door on their own. Our job was to turn a beloved local spot into a venue people actively searched for and booked.
The problem
Beer sales and walk-in traffic weren’t the issue. Private events were — the high-value bookings that fill a venue’s calendar and its margins. CoLab needed a steady, measurable flow of qualified event inquiries, and it needed to see exactly where they came from instead of guessing.
What we did
First, the creative. We rebuilt the venue’s content and video so it looked like the premium event space it actually is — the kind of place a bride, a company, or a birthday planner pictures their event in. Then we put it in front of the right people with a full-funnel local marketing campaign across Google Ads, Meta, Nextdoor, and connected-TV streaming on Paramount, Disney+, and Hulu. In a single month, Google alone drove 11,885 clicks and more than 528,000 impressions.
Underneath all of it, we installed call tracking and monthly reporting, so every inquiry could be traced to its source and every channel held accountable. When ownership questioned whether pausing a channel would cost them leads, we answered with attribution data instead of opinion — and adjusted the media mix accordingly.
The results
In a single month, CoLab estimated 22 to 24 qualified, intent-driven private-event inquiries — a full pipeline of high-value bookings for a venue that had been relying on word of mouth. The engagement ran from late 2024 through 2025 and closed on good terms when ownership chose to refocus on a hyper-local, neighborhood strategy — a direction change, not a walk-back.
The lesson for any hospitality or event-venue brand: content and paid media only work when they’re built together and measured honestly. A beautiful space nobody can find stays empty. We made CoLab findable, then proved where the bookings came from.
