Lead Wolf · Filmmaking

We make films.
Story first, every time.

Short films, a TV pilot, documentaries and music videos, made in San Diego by the Lead Wolf crew. The way we work on a film set, story, character and light, is the way we work on everything we shoot, commercials included.

For artists

How a music video comes together.

01

Listen

We start with the song and what you want people to feel. The idea comes from there.

02

Treatment

A written treatment and storyboard, so everyone knows the video before the camera rolls.

03

Shoot

Location or studio, crew sized to the idea, one or several days.

04

Cut and release

Edit, color and the versions you need to release it: horizontal for YouTube, vertical for Reels and TikTok.

Every video is scoped to the song and the release plan.
